Rice Eclipse Rocketry Team

As a member of the Rice Eclipse Rocketry Team, I’ve participated in various activities such as
designing, prototyping, manufacturing, and analyzing data from different components of rockets.

  • ​Sub-team activities: Launch Rail CAD/CAM, Payload Machining, Auto-Recovery Electronics and Programming

  • Participated on meetings to discuss overall progress and review engineering requirements

  • Collaborated with other sub-teams on drafting, designing, prototyping, simulating, manufacturing, testing, and analyzing data from different components of the rocket

  • Manufacturing experience: Laser and Plasma cutting, Soldering, Milling (CNC/Manual), 3D printing (FDM/SLA)

  • Software experience: SOLIDWORKS (drawing, modeling, assembly, simulation), Arduino and Raspberry Pi / Python

I have multiple years of experience in computational science, data analysis, numerical simulations, remote sensing, and machine learning, as a research assistant and teaching assistant.

• Researched and employed Machine Learning to classify large Astrophysics datasets
